How to register and get your MID number online
Save your Registration Tracking Number (RTN)
You'll use it to get your permanent MID number.
Need your birth certificate? See how to get a PSA birth certificate.
Verify your MID number (MID inquiry, 2–3 working days later)
- Two to three working days after you get your RTN, go back to Virtual Pag-IBIG.
- Click Be A Member, then Verify MID Number.
- Enter your RTN, last name and date of birth, then click Submit.
That's your permanent Pag-IBIG MID number. Give it to your employer, and use it every time you pay your contributions or apply for a loan.
Forgot your MID number? 3 ways to retrieve it
| Where | How |
|---|---|
| Pag-IBIG's official Facebook page | Send a private message to the Pag-IBIG Fund Facebook page asking for your MID number, and give the details they ask for to verify you. |
| Email the Pag-IBIG Contact Center at contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph asking to retrieve your MID number, and give the details they ask for. | |
| Any Pag-IBIG branch | Bring one valid ID. A Lingkod Pag-IBIG will look up your MID number. Find a branch on the branch directory. |
Don't register again to get a new number. If you somehow ended up with two records, ask Pag-IBIG to merge them (see below).
Only message Pag-IBIG's official page (facebook.com/PagIBIGFundOfficialPage) or email its contact center. Never send your details to look-alike pages.

Create a Virtual Pag-IBIG account
With your MID number, you can open a Virtual Pag-IBIG account to view your savings, dividends and loan records. Click Create Account and choose one of these:
- With your Loyalty Card Plus: enter your MID number, the bank that issued your card and the last 4 digits of the card number, then the one-time PIN (OTP) sent to your phone.
- Online activation (no Loyalty Card Plus): enter your MID number, complete name, date of birth and mobile number, then the OTP. Upload a photo of your passport or two valid primary IDs, and a selfie holding them. Your account is activated over the next few days, and you're told by SMS.
- For OFWs: the same as online activation, plus your country of assignment and a Philippine mobile number.
Update your Pag-IBIG records
To correct or change your details, submit the Member's Change of Information Form (MCIF, PFF049) at any Pag-IBIG branch, with one photocopy of a valid ID and the documents for your change:
| Change | Extra documents (1 photocopy each) |
|---|---|
| Name, due to marriage | PSA, NSO or local civil registry marriage certificate |
| Name, other reasons | As applicable: PSA, NSO or local civil registry birth certificate, or the court order granting the change of name |
| Birth date | PSA, NSO or local civil registry birth certificate |
| Single to married | Marriage certificate |
| Married to legally separated | Decree of legal separation |
| Married to annulled | As applicable: Certificate of Finality of annulment or nullity, or an annotated marriage certificate; or a Certificate of Divorce (OCRG Form No. 102) for Muslim members |

| Membership category, address, contact or employment details, heirs | No extra documents (MCIF and valid ID only) |
Filing through a representative? Add an authorization letter and photocopies of both of your valid IDs.
How long it takes: you get an acknowledgment receipt at the branch. Pag-IBIG takes 15 to 20 working days to validate and process your request, then notifies you by SMS or email.
Bring the originals. Pag-IBIG checks the original or a certified true copy of every photocopy. Documents issued abroad need an apostille (or, from non-Apostille countries, certification by the Philippine embassy or consulate). See DFA apostille and PSA documents.
Merge two Pag-IBIG records
If you have more than one MID or record, bring these to any Pag-IBIG branch:
- Filled-out Request for Consolidation/Merging of Member's Records (RCMMR, PFF093)
- One valid ID
- One photocopy of your SSS Employment History
Like updates, merging takes 15 to 20 working days, and you're notified by SMS or email.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get my Pag-IBIG MID number online?
Register on Virtual Pag-IBIG (Be A Member, then Register) with details matching your birth certificate, and save your Registration Tracking Number (RTN). After 2 to 3 working days, use Be A Member, then Verify MID Number, with your RTN, last name and birth date to see your permanent MID.
How long does it take to get a Pag-IBIG MID number?
You get your RTN right after registering online. Pag-IBIG says to verify your permanent MID number two to three working days later.
How can I retrieve my Pag-IBIG MID number if I forgot it?
Message Pag-IBIG's official Facebook page, email contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph, or visit any Pag-IBIG branch with one valid ID.
How do I check if I'm already registered with Pag-IBIG?
If you registered online, use Verify MID Number (MID inquiry) on Virtual Pag-IBIG with your RTN, last name and birth date. If an employer registered you, or you don't have an RTN, ask Pag-IBIG to look up your MID through its official Facebook page, contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph or any branch with one valid ID. Don't register again: a second registration creates a second record that has to be merged.
What is the difference between the RTN and the MID number?
The Registration Tracking Number (RTN) is the temporary number you get when you register online. Your Membership ID (MID) number is the permanent Pag-IBIG number you verify with your RTN after 2 to 3 working days.
Is the Pag-IBIG MID number permanent?
Yes. Pag-IBIG calls it your permanent Membership ID number. If you end up with two records, ask Pag-IBIG to merge them instead of using a new number.
How do I change my name or civil status with Pag-IBIG?
Submit the Member's Change of Information Form (PFF049) at any Pag-IBIG branch with a valid ID and the supporting document, such as your marriage certificate. Processing takes 15 to 20 working days.
I have two Pag-IBIG numbers. What should I do?
Ask Pag-IBIG to merge them: submit the Request for Consolidation/Merging of Member's Records (PFF093) at a branch with one valid ID and a photocopy of your SSS Employment History.
