PhilHealth Contribution Calculator 2026

Type your monthly basic salary or income and choose your member type. The calculator uses PhilHealth's 5% rate that's in force in 2026.

5% of your monthly basic salary or income, with a ₱10,000 floor and ₱100,000 ceiling (PhilHealth Circular 2020-0005, the final step of the UHC Act schedule, still in force in 2026). Self-paying members: the amount on your Statement of Premium Account (SPA) is the official figure. Runs on your phone only; nothing is sent or saved.

How it calculates

  1. Your monthly basic salary (or declared monthly income) is placed between the ₱10,000 floor and the ₱100,000 ceiling. Below ₱10,000 counts as ₱10,000; above ₱100,000 counts as ₱100,000.
  2. The premium is 5% of that amount: ₱500 to ₱5,000 a month.
  3. Employees, kasambahay and sea-based OFWs split it equally with the employer (2.5% each). For a kasambahay earning below ₱5,000, the household employer pays all of it.
  4. Self-earning members, professionals, land-based OFWs and Filipinos abroad pay the full 5%.

The rate is from PhilHealth Circular 2020-0005, the last step of the Universal Health Care Act schedule, which still applies in 2026. See the full table and the 2026 payment rules on our PhilHealth contribution guide.

Self-paying? Check your SPA

If you pay PhilHealth yourself, PhilHealth bills you through a Statement of Premium Account (SPA), and the amount on the SPA is the official one. You'll find it in your email or text messages, or in the PhilHealth Member Portal. Pay the full year by 31 December (grace period until 31 January) to avoid interest.

Pay only through official channels

Pay through the PhilHealth Member Portal, PhilHealth offices, or PhilHealth's accredited collecting agents. Never give your portal login to anyone offering to "pay for you".

Frequently asked questions

How do I compute my PhilHealth contribution?

Multiply your monthly basic salary by 5%, using ₱10,000 if you earn less and ₱100,000 if you earn more. Employees pay half of the result; the employer pays the other half.

How much is the PhilHealth contribution for a ₱20,000 salary?

₱1,000 a month in total: ₱500 from the employee and ₱500 from the employer.

Does overtime or 13th-month pay count?

No. PhilHealth computes the premium on your monthly basic salary, which excludes overtime, allowances, commissions, bonuses and 13th-month pay.

Is the calculator official?

No. It's an independent tool that applies PhilHealth's published 5% rate, floor and ceiling. For self-paying members, the amount on your PhilHealth Statement of Premium Account is the official figure.
